Job Description: Advanced Hardware Engineer Position Title: Advanced Hardware Engineer Experience Required: 7+ Years Education: BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or Power Electronics Domain: Aerospace Electronics Role Overview As an Advanced Hardware Engineer, you will be an integral member of the electronics design team, supporting project execution across requirements management, circuit design, analysis, implementation, and validation of aerospace electronics products and printed circuit boards. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Participate actively in hardware development lifecycle including requirements management, design, implementation, and testing - Perform electronics component selection, analog and digital circuit design, and schematic entry - Conduct circuit analysis including tolerance, power, thermal, and worst-case analysis - Develop layout guidelines and collaborate with layout engineers for PCB implementation - Lead board bring-up, debugging, and testing activities - Support environmental and qualification testing - Ensure adherence to process, quality, and program compliance (CMMI, AS9100, Six Sigma, etc.) - Contribute to technical decision-making during design and development - Participate and lead high-level and low-level design reviews - Analyse issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions - Solve complex problems involving multiple technical disciplines - Contribute to progress and technical review meetings - Drive technical excellence and contribute to successful project execution - Support development of hardware technology roadmaps for products and platforms Qualifications Required Skills & Competencies - Strong understanding of digital electronics, microprocessor-based systems, power electronics, and EMI/EMC principles - Proven experience in high-speed digital or mixed-signal design - Expertise in circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and validation - Ability to simplify complex designs and clearly articulate technical concepts - Experience in EMI/EMC design, including conducted and radiated emissions/susceptibility testing - Knowledge of grounding, shielding, and chassis design for EMC compliance - Hands-on experience in board design, EMI filter design, lightning analysis, and component selection - Proficiency in schematic and layout tools such as Dx Designer, HyperLynx DRC, and HyperLynx SI - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with innovative thinking Behavioural & Leadership Skills - Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership within project teams - Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and results orientation - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills - Experience working in matrix organizations with global stakeholders (solid/dotted line reporting) - Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across boundaries Additional Expectations - Make significant technical contributions critical to project success - Apply best-in-class engineering practices aligned with industry standards - Continuously drive innovation and improvements in hardware design and development processes Interested candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
