JobGPT collects only the information necessary to provide our services. This includes your GitHub repositories, Canvas LMS data (with your permission), and any documents you upload. We never share your data with third parties without your explicit consent.

We use this information to understand your background, match it to job descriptions, generate tailored application materials, support account features, and improve product reliability. You control which integrations you connect and which documents you choose to upload.

Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (256-bit SSL) to protect your data in transit and at rest. Our infrastructure is SOC 2 compliant and GDPR protected. All data is stored in secure, encrypted databases.

Access to user information is limited to the systems and team members who need it to operate, secure, and support the service. We monitor product reliability and investigate suspicious activity to protect accounts and application data.

Integrations

When you connect a third-party service such as GitHub or Canvas, JobGPT uses the connection to retrieve the information needed for your job search workflow. You can remove connected services from your account settings when you no longer want JobGPT to use that source.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, modify, or delete your data at any time. You can export all your data or permanently delete your account from your dashboard settings. We will never sell your personal information.
