Legal Associate (Remote) Location Remote (Global) Employment Type Contract About Us We are a global venture capital firm investing in technology startups across India, the US, and other international markets. We're looking for a proactive Legal Associate to support our investments, legal operations, compliance, and portfolio companies. Responsibilities - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and commercial agreements. - Support investment transactions, including term sheets, SAFE agreements, convertible notes, SPVs, shareholders' agreements, subscription agreements, and other legal documents. - Assist with legal due diligence, fund documentation, corporate governance, and compliance. - Coordinate with external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions. - Conduct legal research and maintain legal records and documentation. - Support intellectual property, trademarks, and regulatory matters. - Assist with online reputation and brand protection, including fake profiles, impersonation, unauthorized content, defamation matters, and platform takedown requests. - Support legal needs for both the firm and portfolio companies. Requirements - Law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent). - 2+ years of experience in corporate, startup, venture capital, private equity, or technology law. - Experience with investment documents, SPVs, fund documentation, or venture financing is preferred. - Strong drafting, research, communication, and organizational skills. - Fluent in English and comfortable working remotely.
